We offer a number of Occupational Health services at minimal cost, tailored to your organisation's needs. We specialise in back and upper limb disorders. Our Contact Centre uses nurses and qualified occupational healthcare professionals to assist your employees' rehabilitation and manage the process of getting them back to work. Our services are cost effective due to the efficiencies of remote monitoring centres. BACK-TRACK Occupational Health will liase with your employees, develop suitable programmes and strategies for them, monitor their progress and get them back to work as quickly as possible.

What we do
(a) If pain scoring shows low level discomfort only then only online guidance is given. This may be completed over the telephone with a nurse if web access is unavailable.
(b) Although BTOH is essentially a remote service, in some cases, refferal to a physiotherapist may be necessary.
(c) Fast-track physio is conducted by the BACK-TRACK Professional Network – a network of qualified MSD specialists with considerable occupational health experience. For more information on the BACK-TRACK Professional Network, see www.backtrackpro.co.uk

How It Works

If an employee has a musculoskeletal problem, simply call the BTOH hotline and obtain a case reference number. The employee can then login and go through a pain scoring questionnaire. If the symptoms are scored low, they will receive online advice relevant to their injury and type of work.

Employees requiring rehab will speak to a nurse who will discuss detailed symptoms, their job function and any other relevant information. Based on this, some immediate advice will be given to the employee.

A BACK-TRACK will be issued with appropriate settings. Contact will be made with the employer and a Rehab / Return To Work plan will be agreed, documented and sent to the employer. The Nurse Contact Centre will monitor the BACK-TRACK results and discuss these with the employee. BACK-TRACK settings will be updated as necessary. Contact with the employee will take place on a weekly basis and progress reviewed.

It may be necessary to refer the employee to a professional such as a physiotherapist. These will be members of the BACK-TRACK Professional Network and will be an integral part of the Return To Work strategy. With successful rehabilitation, the case is closed.
