Employees can often find it difficult to find time to access medical advice. We work on behalf of your employer to provide you with free and confidential, over the phone access to qualified healthcare professionals. These professionals can give initial guidance on most healthcare issues with detailed and specialist advice from day 1 for care of neck, shoulder and back problems, also known as musculoskeletal disorders.
For neck, shoulder and back problems, our nurses will work with you to resolve your symptoms by providing detailed guidance and where necessary, work with you and your employer to provide an effective rehabilitation programme and a return to work programme if your injury is causing you to be absent.
We use a data collection device (BACK-TRACK) designed to monitor some conditions that can assist the treatment of a number of health conditions that can help in the rehabilitation of many back related injuries. Our health professionals will review this data and in consultation with you, update your rehabilitation programme. Our nurses have a professional obligation to ensure confidentiality with you and we have a Privacy Policy detailing how we will not share any confidential medical information with your employer or anyone else.
In some cases, it may be necessary to be assessed face to face by a trained professional such as a physiotherapist who may also recommend a course of treatment. These professionals will be trained in the use of the BACK-TRACK OH System and will be members of the BACK-TRACK Professional Network. These physiotherapists will work together with our nurses to ensure you have the most effective rehabilitation plan.
